It’s been a great couple of days here in Manila mixing up Belvedere cocktails all over this great city. From Opus, to Skye Lounge, and even the kids at De La Salle Institute, I’ve been very impressed with what the Philippines has to offer. Thanks for the sunshine and the hospitality, especially you Charlyn (Chi Chi), Marbee (Barbie!), Mojee, and Richard. Until next time, maraming salamat!

Hands up if you love Belvedere!

Yesterday I took the ferry from Hong Kong over to Macau with the lovely Pheona, who works on the marketing side of the local Belvedere team. We spent the day mixing cocktails and tasting vodka with a great group of students at the IFT, Institute for Tourism Studies. Thanks to Edwyn for arranging everything and for translating my session into Cantonese!

Leo Au, Sommelier at Felix at The Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong, gets all molecular on a Chamomile Cooler made with Belvedere Citrus. Come check out the special all Belvedere, all molecular menu that will be featured for 3 months, 1st July-1st September, at the stunning venue situated on the 28th floor of this classic hotel in Kowloon.

Last night we held a great interactive workshop at The Langham Place Hotel in Kowloon where I taught consumers how to be bartenders! There were some very impressive drinks in the bunch and I definitely think we created a few new Belvedere believers. Big thanks to Leo for putting up with us and letting us make a mess of his bar. And a very special shout out to Aaron, Josh, and Steve, the Flight Easy Marines from Unit Hmm-268, for infusing so much fun into the training. Thank you for your service boys!

Last night was the launch of the annual Belvedere BEAT party in Hong Kong. The party takes place every Friday and Saturday for the next 2 months at the city’s hottest clubs and features a long list of internationally renowned DJs. The kick off party was a huge success with 6L bottles of Belvedere as far as the eye could see. The bottles are so big, it takes 2 dudes just to lift one!

I’m back! I’ve been traveling like a dog, spreading the good word of Belvedere from the highlands to the lowlands. I’ve just arrived to Hong Kong where I’ll be based for the next month while I tour around Asia discovering all of vodka’s delights. Here’s a snap of Anna and I with some of the HK team, Leo and Melinda, and Pietro Didio, bar manager of the world’s HIGHEST bar, Ozone at The Ritz Carlton in Kowloon. It’s 118 stories high and offers some of the most stunning panoramic views I’ve ever seen.
